CONNECTING THE PHONE

  1.    Connect the handset and main phone case with the phone cord.
  1.    Connect the 5V DC output plug to the power jack on the phone; plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet. If a PoE switch is used in step 3 (GRP2612P/GRP2612W/GRP2612G only), this step could be skipped.
  1.    Network connection is possible via two methods which are described below.

  • Using Ethernet - all Models:
    • Connect the LAN port of the phone to the RJ-45 socket of a hub/switch or a router (LAN side of the router) using the Ethernet cable.

  • Using Wi-Fi (GRP2612W, GRP2614, GRP2615, GRP2616, GRP2624, GRP2634, GRP2636, GRP2650, GRP2670):
    • Press the MENU button (circle button between the arrow buttons).
    • On LCD menu, navigate to “System → Wi-Fi settings” and enable Wi-Fi if it displays "Disabled" by using left or right arrow buttons.
    • Select “Scan” and GRP261x or GRP262x Phones will automatically start scanning within the range of Wi-Fi signal.
    • A list of Wi-Fi networks will be displayed. Select the desired network, then enter the correct password to connect. Keep in mind, a Wi-Fi password might include Capital/Lower letters, numbers or even special characters.
