If the option to create an app password is missing please contact us help@nvgcom.ca.
1 - Sign into your Office365 account, Go to outlook.office.com in your Web Browser of choice (Google Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Brave, etc...)
3 - Enter your email, then click Next
4 - Enter your password and click Sign in
If this is your first time signing in, you will be prompted to setup your 2FA, Please follow the steps to setup 2FA as prompted.
If you encounter a prompt similar to the below, Click Next and continue to setup your 2FA methods
The Phone App is mandatory by Microsoft
5 - Go to/ Click https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info
6 - Click Security Info -> + Add sign-in method
7 - Click Choose a Method, Click App password
8 - Click Add
9 - Enter a name for your App password like MyAppPassword, then click Next
10 - Copy and save your app password somewhere secure, you can not recover this password and will need to make a new one if you forget this one. Click Done, once you have saved your app password
